The SOMA model respresents Juro's first entry into the prefabricated market. Intially introduced in fall of 2004, the SOMA became a popular model for SL residents looking for a quality home with a modern style.
In 2005, the SOMA was re-introduced adding new features highly desired by the SL community. The most requested feature addition was an increased sense of privacy. Working with JRL Industries, the SOMA model now features a 4-level, one-way privacy tint. This affords the homeowner maximum privacy from outside, while retaining the views from inside the home. For 2006, the SOMA was re-worked and re-introduced with a new, lower prim count and an automatic rezzing system. The SOMA was rebuilt from the ground up using new construction techniques that saved 18 prims, yet maintained the same level of detail.
The SOMA has a large front deck/patio with smoked glass railing perfect for easy 'fly-ins'. Inside, the home is a loft-type configuration. The ceilings in the main living area are 2 floors high increasing the spacious feel of the home. The optional lighting package (included) adds unique lighting designed by Juro. This lighting system uses the Automatic lighting control by JRL Industries and comes with a manual override switch.
The SOMA is priced to sell for $L750 and the permissions are set as follows: copy/mod/no trans. This allows the new homeowner the opportunity to customize thier home as they wish, without fear of destroying the build. If a part is lost or modified beyond repair, simply drag another copy out of the Inventory folder.
