Custom built structures are the ultimate in Second Life living for many people. A custom build provides the opportunity for the new owner to obtain a structure that is one-of-a-kind and typically allows the new owner the chance at putting a vision to prim.
I have been constructing custom builds, both residential and commercial, since shortly after I joined Second Life in September of 2003. My first custom project was a residential home for Cyrus Apollo located on the north shore of Stillman, which is still a highly regarded structure and has become a landmark of sorts.
Since the completion of that build, I have created many homes and commercial structures for various clients and with each build, I learn new ways to extract more realism from prims and textures.
