Darko and Paris Cellardoor approached me in late 2003 and asked me to build a custom home on the southern shoreline of DaBoom. They wanted a modern, spacious home with a focus on entertaining guests, but with areas where the couple could retreat and enjoy privacy.
The residence utilized many automated systems: automatic sliding doors, locking doors, automatic lights, multi-level tint window, and more. Inside the home, the focus was placed on the expansive great room with room for the Cellardoors to entertain. At the back of the main floor was the master bedroom with lockable doors and windows with adjustable tint to ensure maximum privacy. The upper level of the home contained a loft space that was utilized as an office and art gallery.
The true center of the home and the main entertaining area was the outdoor patio with its pool and spa. The large patio and pool served as the venue for many popular late nite parties.
